The French eSports organization VeryGames has announced some changes concerning its Counter-Strike: Source lineup. Long time serving member Florian 'crZ' Thoumelin has decided to step down from the lineup.
crZ has already been spotted missing out on several games with the team and has now confirmed his departure from VG and also his departure from competitive gaming. He has decided to take a break from gaming to focus on his real life. The team still has a five man roster as their backup player has stepped in as fifth.
Quote:VeryGames:
The Organisation Team VeryGames has their first turn in the 2009-2010 season. Indeed, Floran 'crz' Thoumelin decided to put an end to his playing career.
After nearly 4 years at the highest level he now prefers to concentrate on his professional and personal life. He certainly continues to play but just for fun and not for competition. The life of a top level player is very addictive and can sometimes be difficult and restrictive. Between training matches, official matches, travels in LANs... free time at this level is reduced.
We can only wish him a good continuation in his future projects. We all hope he will succeed in his new goals and will have much success in his new life. All the team and the staff want to thank him for the last months.
A page turns, but a new chapter begins. We are now 5 in the team. We are currently considering the idea of rebalancing the team in integrating a new player. This also generates some flexibility according to the schedules of everyone. If an interesting opportunity arises, we could then hire a new element.
The current vG.CSS lineup is:
Kevin 'Ex6tenZ' Droolans
Ludovic 'shokk' Martin
Vincent 'EMSTQD' Cervoni
Loïc 'RegnaM' Peron
Mickael 'spl4sh' Nguyen Van
Good luck to the team. |
