Today, the multigaming organisation MeetYourMakers (MYM) announced the removal of its FIFA team. The team joined MYM back in February, after leaving its former organisation redCode.
The reason for the removal is the lack of expected results of the team, MYM management stated. Apperently MYM thinks that the fifa community outside Germany is too small and doesn't have enough events for FIFA. The MYM COO stated that some of the individual players had good results, such as Alex coming up second at TEX last weekend, but the overall results were too poor.
Quote: Mark Peter Fries, MYM COO:
All players in the team are great guys, so us parting with the team as a whole is not about lacking chemistry or professional attitudes, it's all about performance. Every player or team that signs the dotted line with a team like ours, know what we demand and what the criterias are to keep on being on contract -> Perform well and win! Some performed well, some not, but overall we expected more from the team in terms of LAN winnings and also from the game and community itself and hence none of that being present or happening, we decided to part ways in a friendly way. Additionally we must say that FIFA outside of Germany simply is a to small community with to few events, to little prize-money and thus to little a game for a team like ours.
The MYM.FIFA roster was:
WoN (team manager)
Typhoon
delfin-1
BuBa
Cuevas
Wepepote
Maximo12
AleX
Good luck to the players in the future. |
