Rumours have been going for months that legendary CS and former CGS zet, will be joining the ranks of SK Gaming. Today, these rumours have been confirmed as the well known esports organisation SK Gaming announced the addition of Marcus 'zet' Sundström to its Counter-Strike 1.6 team.
After zet was removed of the LA compLexity CGS franchise lineup, he has been thinking about returning to competitive CS. Yesterday we saw him play with Da-MiGhtY in the Steelseries KOTH cup, together with SK players tentpole and walle. Today, he officially joined the ranks of the legendary CS1.6 lineup. This does mean that Abdisamad 'SpawN' Mohamed will be taking a break of competitive gaming, as he will make room for zet by taking another role within SK. Something similar happened before, but it didn't last long as we saw SpawN return to the lineup within two weeks.
Quote: Marcus ' zet' Sundström:
Ever since I stopped playing for compLexity I've only had one thought in my mind, playing with my old team mates from NiP. They have all been playing for SK for a long time now, so for me it was obvious which team I really wanted to join. It is s a great honour to play under SK Gaming, probably the world's most successful multigaming organisation.
The current SK-Gaming.CS lineup is:
Dennis 'walle' Wallenberg
Robert 'RobbaN' Dahlström
Kristoffer 'tentpole' Nordlund
Jimmy 'allen' Allen
Marcus 'zet' Sundström
Good luck to the team. |
