Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb , the director of programming for XBOX LIVE, has announced on his website that the fall update for the XBOX360 has been released.
The new update, which adds Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm and Zune video onto an XBOX360 console, has been one of the most talked about updates in Microsoft's history due to its huge social aspect. XBOX LIVE is already home to 20 million plus members and with new features being released regularly, such as Netflix and the Sky TV player, has a very promising future leading up to the eventual release of a new Xbox product.
To access the new features simply connect to XBOX LIVE and check out the newly added 'My community' tab for Facebook and Twitter, 'Music' tab for Last.fm and 'Video' for Zune video. Under 18's will not be able to access the new update until Microsoft install additional family settings. |
