UKCT interviews Sp|ke

images/image_db/ukct_logo.jpgToday, the Counter-strike 1.6 community page UK-CT published an interview with one of our CS players, Mark Sp|ke Quigley. The interviews focusses on the upcoming Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) Grand Finals in San Jose, America. Our team will be attending the event with a merc player, so the staff from UKCT decided to hear out Spike about how they are preparing. As mentioned earlier, theres a chance you may be playing de_tuscan. Have you put any preparation into this map? We've played a few gathers on tuscan but that was about a month ago before the ESWC uk qualifiers and apart from that we haven't done anything on it. Hopefully we have time to go over it but if we can't I'm guessing we'll use some sort of mill tactics on it. Don't think we've even played a mill game or gone over strats on it since I joined though. Apollo at GameReplay King of The Hill tournament

This is an online event which has a cash prize to determine the best RA2 player. The first player to start as King will be our very own Strategy player Apollo, C&C3 WCG Champion. The King will have to play one of the 'Challenging Players', who can be found here, and will have to play one of these every day. months ago we have decided to release most of our FIFA08 players and to rebuild the squad with a few core members. Now, we have reached the point where we can announce our new roster to the public. Team captain Frank 'Enrique' Schallehn has been on the lookout for talented players that will fit into our team and who we can plan for the future with. Team Dignitas COD4 revamped

mentioned earlier this week when we announced the end of our Call of Duty 4 squad as it was, we are now ready to present to you our renewed and strengthened roster. The squads performance at the three Summer LANs showed us once more that the team's core is fully intact and that we just have not found the right mixture of players yet to make it to the very top. This is why we are happy to retain the services of Michael 'Mick' Bradshaw, Jonathan 'raz' Baker and Chris 'Blackmane' Kinnair. Hence we are saying goodbye to SKO and Zenith, we would like to thank them for their efforts and everything they have put into this team and wish them the best of luck for their future careers. At the same time, we would like to introduce our new players to you. The two brothers and former MYM stars Jason 'LoOkzor' O'Connor and Daniel 'SoCLoN' O'Connor are joining forces with our returning three core players for the upcoming events and tournaments. We believe that these players form a lineup that will come far and fight its way through the tough competition at future events. Other organisations seem to believe that CoD4 is dead because they have failed in it, we do not. We have supported CoD since Call of Duty 1 and will continue to do so. He explains how he got into gaming and how he is making a living from it. He also states how his Intel Core 2 Extreme processor is crucial for him to perform on the highest level at his game. Team Dignitas release Call of Duty 4 team

that the three Summer LAN events are over, it was time for us to look back and reconsider the lineup of our Call of Duty 4 team for the next events and online tournaments. Having a lot of problems inside the team such as motivation and dedication, we have decided to remove the whole team for the time being. We are, however, not leaving the Call of Duty 4 scene for good as it is only until this upcoming weekend that we will announce our new COD4 roster on our site. This was Team Dignitas COD4 until today: Chris 'blackmane' Kinnair Michael 'Mick' Bradshaw Jonathan 'raz' Baker Bas 'SKO' Dirks Daniel 'Zenith' Johansen Fredrik 'NewmaN' Reinius, Creative Director of Team Dignitas: We went into the summer LAN season with confidence in our team, after a good tournament in Antwerp the performance took a nose dive and the chemistry within the team was affected by that. Together with the team we agree that changes need to be made for upcoming events. Allthough we are not dissappointed with the results in the fierce competition we need to consolidate and rethink our team. We will keep supporting Call of Duty 4, it's far from dead. fnatic interviews Blackmane

Fnatic writes about the scene having high expectations of our performance, but questions the TEX results of last week: Coming into the summer lans Dignitas had the highest wins to loss ratio, and also they had only lost one competitive lan match since the addition of Sko. Yet at AEF and TeX it seemingly went pear shaped for the European side. The team has done an interview with our Call of Duty 4 team sniper Chris Blackmane Kinnair about his expectations of the event. Dignitas have had a somewhat unsuccesful lan season, what do you think were the problems at AEF and TeX? Even though the competition was so high at AEF and TeX yes i will agree that we had an unsuccesful lan season with 3rd and 7/8th. The main reason for this i believe was down to home sickness and lack of experience. Sko clearly was not happy most of the time and just didnt perform when it mattered, also zenith played really well most of the time but his lack of experience let him down when it came to the big games.
